THE OPERATING PRINCIPLE
Native mode is an opt-in Bash session, not a pretend terminal. Your aliases, functions, virtualenvs, job control, and sourced configuration still belong to your shell.
Cliffy puts a draft in your editable command buffer with Ctrl+G. Review or change it before Enter. Cliffy does not execute that draft for you.

TWO WAYS INTO THE WORK
Launch cliffy --shell bash when you want a native Bash session. This mode is opt-in, keeps its own state, and shares your files with the rest of your system. It is not a sandbox and does not edit your global shell profile.
Run cliffy for the Python assistant experience: ghost-text suggestions, % commands, %% guided work, and %%% coding mode. Its state and limits differ from native Bash; choose the mode that fits the job.
YOUR MODEL, YOUR KEY
Pick a supported provider, bring your own API key, and choose your model. Keys are configured locally; this website has no key form, analytics, or inference requests. Provider charges and availability depend on your own account.
